Większość biografii Steve’a Jobsa maluje go jako osobę paskudną: zarozumialca, kłamcę, tyrana, który poświęci wszystko, byle tylko osiągnąć swój cel. Oczywiście też jako geniusza.

Jaki był naprawdę twórca legendarnej firmy Apple? Oczywiście, że był paskudny. Ale się zmieniał. Tytułowa „Droga Steve’a Jobsa” pokazuje ewolucję geniusza, którym w młodości eksperymentował z narkotykami i był śliski sięgnięcia dna. Jego droga potoczyła się inaczej. Stawiał sobie cele, które doprowadziły go do sukcesu i dzięki którym odnalazł się w roli ojca i męża.
